"I bought this tent on closeout for around 100.00 and have been very happy with it. It is very well thought out and crafted. There is plenty of room for one person and enough for two who are comfortable with each other in close quarters. Makes a good father/son tent also. Tall vaulted ceiling allows you to sit up and plenty of vestibule space lets you leave your gear (two packs one on each side) safely outside the tent. Included gearloft, extra stakes and reflective tiedown cords are nice touches. The all mesh design is excellent for humid hot southern summers, you can leave the fly folded on the roof to keep the dew of you and quickly pull it down and clip it in if rain approaches without getting out of the tent. Also no problems with condensation due to the two wall design. Being able to open the fly and the door during rain is great for reducing clausterphobia. The color is lowkey and pleasing with the tan rainfly. Reflective accents make it easy to spot in darkness in the dense wooded tennessee hills.

As for cons there are few. First of you have to accept that you are buying a 3 season tent that will work reasonably in mild winters. It is very hard to find the footprint and you definatly need it unless you want to be patching the thin floor. I have had to cut one outof a thin tarp and use that, if you find a footprint email me (tnprime at gmail.com) They could have made the tent a bit wider with little additional weight gain. I might be but not all of us are 177lbs. One man setup is initially difficult with the continuos pole sleeves and the set up is very taught. Practice setup first at home. I suggest buying a few extra stakes to be able to fully tie down the tent on windy nights.

Overall I am very pleased with this tent, I cant wait to pass it on to the kids knowing it is such a good worthy tent and wasn't 300.00! I wish I could have the footprint to be able to set up the rainfly with FP to make a minimalist shelter for beach camping, music festivals, etc.
The design is advantageous over the hubbahubba as it is easy to have the fly set up and ready on the roof. Seeing as this tent is now a closeout it is found very reasonably on ebay and else where, pick one up."

"Just bought this tent, and I am amazed at the lightweight yet firm design. The setup is easy after the first time and it can be done with just one experienced person. Appears to be superior to most common tents in the water proof category - fully taped seams on the fly and tub. Awesome ventilation on this sucker, due to an almost fully vented body!

Found this one a Cabella's in Buda, Texas; just south of Austin on I 35. It came with all the fix'ns, including aluminum stakes, guy lines, and yes, even a FOOT PRINT. Yeah! Everything I could ever dream of in a 120 dollar tent, closeout price granted. Can't beat gett'n a 250 dollar, everything included, tent for 120, WOW!

LONE LIVE THE LONESTAR STATE..."
