"I've used this tent for a 2 week trip to Maui. I have good and bad to say. The good: it is light (3.6lbs) and sturdy(nice aluminum frames). The only bad is it is surprisingly complicated in setting up. It takes some time to get it up wich is hard when raining. Not much room inside, might be worth buying the 2 person version, even if only using it for one."

"For the money ($68)this is a great tent. I used it in Florida this past March and had steady all night rainstorm the first night out. It passed the test with flying colors. It is a bit small compared to the two man Eureka I also use but it is about 2lbs less."

"I just got back from a 9 day trip on the Bartram Trail in Nantahala National Forest. I had moderately heavy to very heavy rain on 4 nights and one morning. This tent performed magnificently and didn't leak a drop. I just wanted to reiterate what a great buy this is for the $68. I paid for it."

"I recently used this tent under some challenging conditions: temps from 35 to 45 degrees, gusty wind and intermittant showers and rain. It held up very well with the wind, no leaks, and no problems with condensation under the damp conditions- the vented peak helps a lot! The interior wall tension is adjustable from the inside-a nice feature. For me this tent is summed up by "just enough". There was just enough room for my pack at the end of my 3/4 sleeping pad, just enough room to sit up in, just enough space in the small vestibule for boots, damp gear and to CAREFULLY cook on my stove.

The cons: Not self-supporting, and way too many staking points(10 total) although under calm wind or if you are in a hurry you could probably get away with 5 stakes. It is a little heavier than solo tents offered by other tent makers. If you are left handed, you are NOT going to like this tent. It is really laid out for right handed people.

All in all, it is a good combination of weight, features, and price--especially if you are on a budget!"

"Bought this for a lightweight, weatherproof solo backpacking tent and it performed excellently. Just enough room for myself and sleeping bag, with enough room to keep us claustrophobes from going nuts. The pack had to stay outside with a rain cover, and only enough room under vestibule for boots. I like the vent on the top, kept condensation from building very well (and I took it out into single digits temperatures in the snow). If you're looking for something roomy, move on, but if you want something lightweight and weatherproof for under $100, this is a steal. Highly recommended."

"Good tent, stayed dry in N NM, CO, MI, & Great Smokies monsoons, 3-4 night trips, temps 50 - 75 F, good room for 1, warm with good ventilation. Not much room in vestibule for gear, enough for boots, this is OK I don't want my backpack near me when I sleep, a garbage bag keeps it dry. Found I need to use line on tent stakes to tune in set up properly, need lots of stakes. Light & packs down small with compression sack, Alum poles fold up so they can roll up with sleeping pad."

"Took this out snow camping for a couple days. Stayed dry, held in heat pretty well. I'm 6'1 and I wouldn't recommend anyone taller getting this tent, I fit, but it was close. Vent helps keep condensation to a minimum. Big enough for yourself and your bag. I'm returning mine to get a 2-man, I need room for panniers."
