"i returned this pack after only 2 days of use. it rubbed my hipbones completely raw, did not support even 35-40 pound loads, pinched my shoulders, and sagged considerably. admittedly, the problems i had w/ the pack were largely the result of the pack's narrow design (a store clerk convinced me my narrow shoulders and relatively thin build would work well with the 'womens' pack, but the cant of the shoulder straps and hip belt were such that i might as well have tied the pack to my back with rope). surely this pack would be suitable for certain body types as long as loads didn't exceed 30 lbs. or so. just didn't work for me. i reluctantly shelled out an additional $100 to "upgrade" to the gregory reality and am _very_ pleased at my decision.

in backpacking, you certainly get what you pay for."

"I recently bought this pack after using a more "bargain" pack for several months. I put a lot of research into this purchase. I am male but I have a short frame and found that this pack fits me wonderfully. I have used it on several trips, a few of which have been several days and with a load of anywhere from 25 lbs to about 40 lbs and it works great. All in all I don't think I could ask for a more comfortable pack"
