"REI's Travel Sack is a terrific 1.6 lbs to have along. A wearable sleeping bag w hood. In cold weather it's excellent as a liner for your old sleeping bag to keep you toasty. Most outings, it is terrific to wear around in camp like a warm cloak after a long hike. It has a bottom that opens to let your feet out while the bag ciches around your waist. There are zippers and a snap suspender straps to hold it up around your shoulders. The hood can be infinitely adjusted. While everyone else is either cold or adding layers to their stinky day clothes, you can be very comfortable with all those adjustments. When it's time to turn in, in mild weather it's your back pack! All those openings close tight or adjust for your ventilation. Caught in a bad place in a freezing rain storm I once wore it as a cagoule jacket under my rain jacket and pants. On long flights at night where I get cold, I fold my jacket, loosen my regular clothes, snuggle into my Travel Sack. I tuck the hood inside and arrange it like a cloak so I can move around the cabin if I need to. After the meal I would fall asleep faster if I wasn't always being asked were I bought it! This thing stuffs to about the size of a softball!"

"AWESOME!
Studied abroad in Fiji Islands for 3.5 months, which included a week long trek in the bush. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect, versatile warm weather sleeping bag..."
