"Great Pack, purchased after my son started backpacking with the Boy Scouts (2000) and found that my old JanSport internal was a tad light in capacity. Even on a weeklong trek with the scouts the pack still had room to spare. Great support for large heavy loads.
It is a shame that Dana dropped their external pack line.

"Great pack for dads going with smaller kids needing help carrying their gear. Its very roomy with lots of packing options but its heavy! This is not the the pack if its just for you. 5 stars if you need a big pack to carry tons of stuff. For personal use its 3 stars because of its weight.

Other notes: Great suspension. Belt would be better with cinch straps like Kelty. Love the external pocket choices. The pack has top and side access which is importaqnt when this pack is full."
