"I bought this model to supply a crew of 10 at Philmont. It works well and fast. We made 40 quarts in about 20 minutes. Its larger size makes it easier to pump and handle than other, smaller filters. I still used a anti-virual if there was a question about the water source."

"I just bought the guide for backpacking in the Black Hills. I bought it because it was a great price and didn't look bulky like other filters. I was a little disappointed with the directions the package came with, it was hard for me to understand how the to set up the filter itself. It was very vague. However, I am very pleased & the filter is very fast. It doesn't take long to fill a nalgene bottle or a hydration pack. Plus it comes with different connections for different bottles. This works great for the the type of packing I'm doing. Our water is very clean and there is no doubt that this filter is doing what is suppose to do."
