"Loved my MH Haven 3 on my trip to the Weminuche Wilderness. There were only 2 of us, but the extra room for the minimally increased weight was well worth the hauling. We camped at 13k feet, and had strong gusting winds throughout the night. With the lines all staked out, the tent was very stabile and warm (temp low into the 20's high teens before dawn) with excellent ventilation and minimal condensation. I will highly recommend this tent for most of the hiking/camping I will experience into the late fall, maybe later in the year. It performed as it was expected to perform!! Very satisfied, and buying it at REI saved a bunch of money as well on sale."

"I am 160lbs 5'10. My wife is 100lbs 5'2". we bought this tent because we also have 2 dogs and we needed more room then a 2 person. But wanted to carry a tent that didnt weigh much more then a 2 person tent. This tent is great. It is a little heavier with a footprint being used also. Remember that when looking up weights of tents. But this summer we are going to just take the footprint and fly and that is about 5 lbs. the whole tent, with fly footprint, poles, stakes, body, is about 8.5 pounds. not to bad for all the room you get. I wish the Brow pole was a little better designed. but it works!"
