"This is the basic $3 1/2 inch closed cell foam sleeping pad. No as comfortable as a thermarest, or ridgerest but it works and is cheap. I also cut them up to make internal frame sheets (attach aluminum stays)."

"I used this sleeping pad and i can say it was comfortable for a week, but after awhile of having it rolled up in my sleeping bag all day, it got mis-shapen. I would reccomend this for short hikes, about 3 days."

"i paid around five bucks for it. It has been on five trips and has spent the rest of it's time rolled up. As long as you open it to the bottom of the tent it works ok. My biggest complaint is that it refuses to pack tightly. it takes up more pack space than either my tent or my sleeping back."

"This is an OK pad if weight and bulk are not an issue. My pad was divided into 4 sections, 3 sleeping pads and an inflatable pillow. I removed the largest section and now my dog uses it when we camp."

"I use this pad for winter camping. I cut off about 2 feet off the foot end and also carry a Thermo rest pad which is 1 inch thick. The cheap pad keeps me insulated from the snow. It works great! My friend uses more expensive pads and he always melts a spot in the snow under his body. In summer I bring it to, especially on 3 or more day trips. It and my Thermo rest are buddies and we all have a good nights sleep."

"I took this $5 pad on a weekend winter hike. I used a tarp overhead instead of a tent, so I just laid down an oversized trash bag, then the pad, then my sleeping bag, and slept like a baby. It rolled right around by sleeping bag."
