"After searching long and hard for the perfect pair of plactic mountaineering boots, I believe I have found the best. The Invernos offer a unique combination of comfort and flexibility with warmth and waterproofness. They are 100% reliable when it comes to retaining crampons. The fit is on the wide side and they are expensive, but well worth the money."
