Vortex 4500 Review

"I have owned and used a lot back packs from old BSA haversacks to Gregory and Osprey. But I have found my favorite. An Obscure company out of SLC,Utah named Vortex. It is easy the best made, best designed, most comfortable pack I have ever used. I have used it in Glacier, High Uintas, Red Rock near Las Vegas, Death valley back packs. Also in many short weekend hikes. It is both top load and front load. It has an outer small comprssion pack similar to Osprey. It has great compression control, internal and external. It has huge zipper and zipper pulls. The hip belt and shoulder straps are the best. I have arthritus in my shoulders and this is easily the best for comfort. I is a shame they don't have better distribution or they would be the top brand."

"I love this company. Their lifetime unconditional warranty is unsurpassed in the industry. I beat up my pack pretty regularly and they fix it no questions asked. The more I use my pack the more I love it."
