"Large mouth top loading pack. No trouble getting stuff sacks of varying sizes into this pack. Its 4000 cubes at just over 4 lbs. Very nice. The belt is very comfortable. The suspension system is very flexible and easy to adjust. The pack easily carries 30-45lbs. I have not pushed the 60lb capability mentioned on their website.

There are 2 "spandura" side pockets that stretch to hold water bottles or gear. The back pocket, also made from spandura, can stretch to hold everything from shoes to ropes to a thermarest pad. All three pockets shrink flat when not in use, however in cold weather they do not tighten up as much as in summer. The removable lid has two separate zip pockets and clips to the pack with one 1" clip.

The pack can be lightened for shorter trips by removing the lid and padding from the belt. Very smart!

Negatives.
The one clip for the top lid can wobble. The top should have 2 clips to make sure its secure and does not wobble.

No hydration outlet. You can lay it under the lid but it can fall out if the top is not packed just right.

Lighter upper material.

Cinch straps would be an improvement.

Removable side pockets.

Cinch straps would be an improvement."
