Description
Foothills of Mt. Rainier between 3000 & 7000 ft. elev. Rain forest, sub-alpine meadows & alpine glacial morrains are encountered during a fantastic 35 mile excursion of ascents and decents through valleys, along glaciers, over ridges, and past vast meadows. A must do, and well worth the time to make reservations for. www.nps.gov/mora/trail/northern.htm

Directions to Hike
From the east entry to Mt. Rainier NP at Whitewater, go north to Sunrise Visitor Center and trail heads for the Wonderland and Northern Loop Trails.
