Description
The hike begins from where the road has been washed out, about 6 or 7 miles from Doosewallips State Park. Pretty easy hike along the remaining road until less than a mile from the park, there is a trail head marked about 30 feet uphill by a sign marked "Lake Constance 3400' in 2 miles." That is where the easy part ends. The next 2 miles are intense, but if you make it to the lake, it is worth it. The trail comes to a point where it becomes nearly impassable. There is a small map giving two route choices, but neither is simply negotiated. Beautiful scenery and a challenge for any hiker/backpacker. BTW Ravioli is great, but maybe not a good idea to pack in on a hike like this.

Directions to Hike
From Seattle, North on I-5 to Edmonds/Kingston Ferry exit. Take Ferry to Kingston, follow SR-104 to US-101, and take a right on Dosewallips Rd. Proceed as far as possible until road washout, park and proceed on foot.
