Description
If you want to go for a nice two day hike without hitting the snow then do not go all the way to glacier meadows, but stop for the night at olympic guard station wich is 9 miles from the visitor center. March and april are a great time to go to avoid the crowds, but the downside is that the trail is not well maintained this time of the year so the last 3-4 miles are a little rough.

Directions to Hike
From edmonds take the kingston ferry to 104. Take 104 north to 101 west. Follow 101 west to Port angeles where it turns into 101 south. Take 101 south past Forks about 12 miles to the Hoh turn off. Have a great trip
