Description
An excellent hike for people with young children or the day hiker. It is two miles of fairly level trail with places to stop and let the children rest along the way. The lake has an excellent view of Cathedral Rock and is warm enough for the children to play in. (Though it is too cold for my liking)

Directions to Hike
From I-90 take the Roslyn/Salmon la Sac exit and follow the signs to Salmon la Sac. Turn onto Fish Lake road just after the Ranger station and just follow the road up to the trail head. Allow about 90 minutes to two hours from the time you turn off of I-90. Parking permits may be required now and camp permits are required.
