Description
Life Changing! This hike presents different challanges for different people. The shear length of it is enough to scare many moderate hikers away, the weather is unpredictable no matter when you go, you climb and loose 25,000 feet in elevation. But the views (especially on the east side of the mountain) cannot be put into words, the terrain is extremely variable- from dense evergreen forests, to lahar-induced, rock filled creek beds, to bare grass covered ridge tops, to snowfields, to deep grassy valleys, quiet lakes of all varieties, and raging rivers and gentle creeks. An unbelievable hike! Do it, and I swear you will not regret it. It will change your life!

Directions to Hike
For some reason, most go clockwise, but my dad and I went counterclockwise. Honestly, neither direction is easier than another, so it doesn't matter which direction one goes.
