Description
Short hike to get from the parking lot to the marbleyard, with a good uphill section toward the base. This is one of the most amazing things I've seen hiking here in Southwest VA. The marbleyard is basically an enormous rock slide with huge boulders to traverse. Don't be fooled when you first look up at it from the trail. The peak you think you see is a small lip that is only about 1/4 of the way up. It took a about 2 hours to climb up all the rocks, eat lunch (20 mins)and boulder back down to the bottom. Absolutely amazing!

Directions to Hike
Take I-81 to exit 175. Proceed to Route 11 North for 1.8 miles. Turn right on VA 130 for 3.1 miles. Turn right onto VA 759 for 3.2 miles. Turn left on VA 781 for 1.4 miles. Parking lot is on the left.
