Description
At the end of the paved road, the beach begins. Backpackers can then begin their trek and go as far as you want. The only drawback is that hikers must share the beach with 4x4's. However, if you hike past 20 miles, you will rarely see anyone. For beach hikes, this is a must(this is the real unspoiled South Padre).

Directions to Hike
Located SE of Corpus Christi.E on 358, cross the JFK Causeway, continue 10 miles south on Park Road 22, the park is at the end of the road.
