Description
Easy staring outing but quckly descends once you get thru the burned out pine trees by bowater due to the nasty beetle that ate them up. Lots of switchbacks over rocky terrain. Watch for white makers on trees to guide you to the bottom of the falls....this is a nice short hike to get you started for the season about 3 1/2 miles round trip. Not recommended for lil ones due to the decent and rocky tarrains

Directions to Hike
Hwy 68 north from Spring City to Shut in Gap Road pass Piney Creek park and continue up the mountain apx 5-6 miles. Watch for parking area on right with sign..Sting Creek Falls Pocket Wilderness area
