A beautiful moderately difficult hike that we broke into two segments. The loop itself is preceeded by a 0.7 mile hike into the loop. There are two paths into the loop both which require passage of two sets of very steep steps (almost ladder like). Some one not in very good shape or dexterity should not attempt this trail. The trail head starts at the north arch where you can proceed east to Jake's place which intersects with the Middlefork Creek trail and Slave Falls trail. This section of the trail is after about 2.0 miles and is shored be a small stream which the trail crosses numerous times. 1.8 miles from Jake's Place is the Charit Creek (lodge) Hostel. We camped about 1.0 prior to the Hostel along the stream. Both Jake's place and the hostel had very suitable grassy meadows for tent camping. There were two or three places along the Middlefork Creek that were suitable, but only noticeable during daylight. From Charit Creek hostel the trailhead is about 1.7 miles of a uphill (300 elevation) hike. The trail is well mended. A wonderful trip.
