Description
This is a strenuous hike, but well worth it! The first 1/2 mile isn't so bad but the next 1 1/2 is pretty steep. When you make it to the top (or what you think is going to be the top) You have the option to climb up massive rock for the most inspiring view. Just don't look back. There is an alternative to get up there around the right of the steep rock there is a trail then a shorter steep climb. I went up the first route then down the other. It gives you a 360 degree view of the Smokey Mountains that is breathtaking.

Directions to Hike
4 or 5 miles out of Gatlinburg.
