Description
There are several miles of trails in French Creek State Park. You Can make a great loop out of the Boone, Six Penny, and Horseshoe Trails. The park is all but deserted mid-fall through early spring, and the trails are quite challenging. It takes 4-5 hours for an experienced hiker to complete.

Directions to Hike
From Philadelphia: Follow rte 23 West to rte 345 in Elverson and head North. Go in through the south entrance and pick up the Boone trail by the Ranger Station.
