Description
Moderate elevation changes, mostly ridge-line hiking. The 2 Shelter sites (Cow Run and Wolf Kill) have 6 adirondack shelters with frontal fire places. Pit Restrooms with water is available. Wood is already cut and available. Tent sites are few and not very good.(No stealth camping permitted). Reservations are required. Wildlife observations included: Deer, Black Bear, Gray Squirrels, Racoon, Woodpeckers, Turkey, Bobcat, Turkey Vultures, numerous songbirds, Etc.

Directions to Hike
Rt 62 North out of Oil City to Oil Creek State Park. There are 2 trail head parking areas: (1): State Park Office at Petroleum Center and (2) Drakes Well Museum Parking Lot.
