Description
Frick Park is an oasis in the City of Pittsburgh. Much like Discovery Park in Seattle one can escape the city and for a while feel deep in the forest.

Frick has over 5 miles of trail that transverse hills, steep ravines, valleys and around every corner one can expect a suprise.

The city of Pittsburgh has a site that offers basic maps - www.city.pittsburgh.pa.us. Also, I am beginning a gps mapping project of this and other parks in Pittsburgh that will offer great detail on trails, flora and fauna.

Directions to Hike
Located in the Regent Square section of the city in the East End. The park is easily reached off the Parkway East...right off Braddock Ave.
