Description
Mostly Flat through the Cumberland Valley. Farm fields and gentle ridges. The trail is within a corridor of land which is skirted by developements and roads. While this part of the trail is not the most pictuesque and can be quite buggy and hot during summer, a trip to childrens lake in Boiling Springs make sit all worthwhile. The lake is situated next to the AT office and offers bubbling springs of cool water and great shade. Also located nearby is Aniles Pizza Restaurant which can feed any backpacker appatite.

Directions to Hike
Begining on South Mountain at center point knob follow the AT North through pasture land. 3.5 miles from the ridge you will find the town of Boiling Springs and childrens lake. Another 12 miles puts you on NOrth mountain.
