Description
Minister Creek is a 6.6 mile loop in the southern part of the Allegheny National Forest. The northern end of the loop is part of the North Country Trail. It loops around a scienic mountain creek valley. Rated as a moderatly dificult trail, the natural beauty makes it worth the trip.on the west side of the valley is a breathtaking scienic overlook. Along the trail are two established camping areas, one halfway up the valley called Deerlick camp is my favorite. The other at the far end of the valley is called Triple Forks. The valley is typical of northern Pennsylvania mountains. Mostly mature forest and large sandstone outcrops.By far one of the most beautiful places on earth!

The trailhead parking lot is located on SR 666 14.7 miles southwest of Sheffield PA
