Description
Several connected loops & trails running all throughout Robber's Cave State Park make for very nice dayhiking or a leisurely overnighter. Rough Canyon Loop at 3 miles or so is probably the prettiest part and runs right through the area of large boulders in which the park's namesake cave is situated. (not much of a cave but a splendid view from the mouth) The trails all run by water at one point or another and there is a nice little primitive camp by a lake on the Mountain Trail. Also a well equipped typical state park type area for those more accustomed to the comforts of home at the southernmost point of the trail system. The 200 mile long Quachita Trail from Talimena State Park to just west of Little Rock Arkansas begins just 30 miles or so southeast of here.

Directions to Hike
U.S. 75 then Indian Nations Turnpike south from Tulsa to U.S.270 south of McAlester, east U.S. 270 to Wiburton, state 2 north to park.
