Description
Trail goes flucuates from 600 to 900 feet elevation. Over 20 stream crossings most across Whiskey Run and Storms Run. You'll walk through pure stands of 26"+white oaks and many acrs of mixed oaks. No established campsites at the half way point. This trail is within the boundaries of the Wayne National Forest Ironton District and is well marked. There are several access points, main one at Lake Vesuvius Recreation area. Very nice, especially in spring.
