Description
Did this trip in two days during the winter. The terrain is shockingly hilly with a lot of steep ups and downs with switchbacks. Also there are numerous stream crossings without designated routes for crossing. The designated camp areas are well kept with privys and are adequately spaced. Water is found in stocked underground storage tanks that are reportedly not always stocked although I did not have any troubles. The trail for the most part is well marked, however they do not follow the double blaze rule so turnoffs and branching trails can leave you backtracking.

Directions to Hike
From Columbus take US 23 south to Portsmith. Go west on US 52 and OH 125.
