Description
There are 3 trailheads located in this Ohio Histoical Society Site. The main marked trailhead takes you on a 3 mile trek to an ancient (Hopewell) indian fort and is mostly uphill. The earthwork is absolutely amazing. The gorge tail will walk you along a stream bed, and on a side trail features a rare rockbridge through a hillside, which at times can be very muddy. The terrain is moderate for the most part, except for approaching the fort which becomes fairly steep.
