Description
I only hiked from the trailhead to camp 7 on the south loop. This is a moderate backpacking trail, but it was recently bulldozed by a bobcat so most parts of the trail were about 5 feet wided with soft loose dirt. I don't know how far around the south loop this continued though. Overall, it isn't very scenic, but it's good just to break in some gear or for some exercise.

Directions to Hike
From state route 52 out of W. Portsmouth turn right onto 125. From here, pass the campground and Day Hike parking and the trail head will be on the left. Self registration is free.
