Description
Wonderful Trail. It goes up to ridge tops right away then it is pretty smooth for next 4 miles. Goes to huge overlook that you walk along the edge. Wonderful new green leaves were coming out. Some of the forest was burned to promote growth. Was so nice out the lavender trees and dogwoods. Saw some nice caves and rested in one. Was nice and cool. The only bad part was the damn flys. They were hatching and everywhere.

Directions to Hike
Take Route 33 to Route 278 in Nelsonville and then head west and you will run right into Lake Hope State Park. The Trailhead parking lot is right accross street from Hope Furnace.
