Description
There are no defined trails except the trail that goes up to the peak. Their are cattle and proghorn trails all over though. The entire area is in the high desert about 35 miles northwest of Albq. Pack in a ton of water and water weight food. The peak offers great boulder class climbing.

Directions to Hike
550 to cr279 20 miles northwest of a small town named San Luis. The road that leads up to Cabezon is a primitive dirt raod, so take it slow.
