Description
This trail provides probably one of the easiest routes to the southern ridge of the Presidentials, and one of the best views for the efforts provided. Overall it is a moderate hike. The middle section is fairly steep but once at the tree line the trail levels off before ascending the cone of Mt. Eisenhower via the Eisenhower loop of the Crawford path. The 360 degree views from the top of Eisenhower are breathtaking and are well worth this moderate 3.4 mile hike. This trail also provides great access to the ridge of the southern presidentials which can make for interesting weekend trips.

Directions to Hike
From North Conway head north on route 16 to the juction with 302 in Glenn. Follow route 302 north through Crawford Notch. Once through Crawford notch turn right onto Clinton Road. The trailhead is about 3 miles on the right.
