Description
The Flume Slide Trail is very steep and rough. It ascends the side of Mt. Flume.
Views on the trail are very limited and spots were faily overgrown. There was alot of climing and struggling up flat ledges. The ledges are almost always damp and very slippery because of so many seep springs. At the summit, the trail meets the franconia ridge trail(4328).Its
not recommended for descent. Most blazes were on the ledges.

Directions to Hike
I-93 N. in New Hampshire. The trail head is on the Webster Highway in Franconia Nat Park.
