Description
Trail runs noth/south from Mt. Monadnock (3.2k +) to Mt Sunapee (3k+) passing thru grown over farmland with a great mix of hardwood and evergreen forests. Lots of open areas with blueberry bushes galore. It is approximately a 4 day hike with sites spaced about 1 days hike apart. The trail passes either thru or close to several small towns from which to replenish your supplies. The town of Washington has a leanto site just outside of town that is very well maintained. This trail mixes fantastic views of New England countryside with a look back to times gone by. This hike is a 4 star fall hike when foliage is at its peak.

Directions to Hike
Mt Monadnock and Mt sunapee are very well known and easy to get to, I recommend getting the Guide for this trail which is published by the Society to protect NH forests. The guide is available at almost any outdoor retailer in NH such as EMS.
