Description
rainbow falls is close to 200 feetand gets its name from the rainbows that are visible almost all the time. a rather easy hike with 2 other water falls to see on the way (turtle back and drift falls). i reccomend getting the book the sierras clud guide to water falls in nantahala nat. forest. it shows trial maps for this whole region with a total of 8 waterfalls within an 8 mile hike total (one way) there are short cuts thru out this area too

Directions to Hike
