Description
This is an outstanding loop with some difficult climbs. The most spectacular section is probably along Ledbetter creek where wild hogs can be seen in the steep valley along the beautiful cascading stream. Cheoah bald provides some beautiful views.

This hike will take you through some beautiful mountain wilderness as well as some less remote areas. There are a few road crossings and navigation can be a little tricky at these points.

Directions to Hike
Nantahala Outdoor Center near Bryson City is a good place to access the AT and begin your loop.
