Description
This an area of eastern Missouri called Lincoln Hills which is very similar to the Ozark mountains. There is a system of trails that total approximately 30 miles. Very scenic but also very popular with equistrians. Big Sugar Creek which runs through the middle of the park is large but often DRY. Cuiver River is the only reliable source of water but due to the cliffs it can be difficult to access. Bringing plenty of water is essential. Many opportunities for shorter day-hikes or multiple overnights.

Directions to Hike
From St. Louis take Interstate 70 west to Highway 61 north. Approximately 1 hour from St. Louis.

Contact Information
