Description
If you're looking for relaxation and beautiful scenery, this is the place. With only a 2-3mile hike from the trailhead at Nurnberg Rd., the hiker can set up camp and explore the 10+ miles of trails that weave in and out from old 4500 year old dunes to those that are being shaped today. This is a great place to come and unwind. Stay for a couple days and day hike around the dunes, hike up the beach, or play in the sand. Be sure to leave no trace and bring a water purifier to get water out of Lake Michigan

Directions to Hike
Take US 31 North, past Ludington, to Forest Trail Road. Turn left and go west to Forest Tr. Turn left again and head south to Nurnberg Road. Turn right and head west to parking area.
