Description
This is a beautiful hike. The trail head at Dead Mans Hill is a slow decent in a nice wooded setting. there are several bridges crossing some nice rapidly flowing stream's, and a couple Beaver ponds. There are some good elevation changes with beautiful wooded walks and well groomed trail. I couldn't help but think that that someone loved this trail as well as it was cared for. The Camp site is Like WOW Pit toilet's a water well, fire pits, about 10 or more site's (half expected a bar...)$15.00 per night Honesty fee. It Can be a bit confusing coming out of the camping area. not a long walk but you'll need to pay attention. We started at 2pm and we were off the trail by 2pm the next day and didn't push it at all. The trail offers many opportunities for some good looking fishing, you may want to make it a long weekend and get in some fishing. Loved the hike GREAT GOLF IN GAYLORD>>>>

Directions to Hike
If your coming from the south, turn left at the bulk storage Gas facility on 131 before you get to Gaylord. It would be helpful to go to the DNR Station in Gaylord to get trail maps before heading out
