Description
This is a intermediate difficulty hike (depending on the time of year you go) which has moderate elevation changes. There are many streams, all with quite good bridges, and most of the hike is through woodland areas. there is a campground at about the halfway point which is very well maintained.

Directions to Hike
Take US 131 north to Dead Man Hill road which is about 3 miles north of Alba, Michigan, and head due west to the parking area which is about 2 miles from US 131.
