Description
Foot travel only area along the Pigeon River. Gentle up and down. Lots of pine forest,sinkholes, some with water, some without, a cedar swamp, loons will serenade you at Grass Lake. This is a beauty. Mildly rugged trail for lower Michigan, okay for beginners.

Directions to Hike
Going north on I-75, exit at Vanderbilt (10 miles north of Gaylord). In town, turn left (east) on Sturgeon Valley Road, there it is 11 miles later.
