Description
Gradual uphill with rock scramble, neat whitewater, hawks, beavers, moss-covered boulders, turtles and silence. As you round what we have named "dead beaver gulch", there is an awesome 200ft. 70 yr. old dam with water flowing over and a bottom release. Good afternoon hike.

Directions to Hike
83 north from Baltimore to 127 West (left). Go about 1 mile to the 1st right - Masemore. Go slow as you go down the hill to the Gunpowder, there is an old millhouse in the middle of the road. Park at will before the 1st steel bridge.
