Description
This is a great hike to take the trails are not marked as a open trail but instead private. The trail system connects from birch hollow to red river gorge and from natural bridge to birch hollow. We used a rental cabin at birch hollow as our base camp. http://cabinsofbirchhollow.com for details. The hike is intense with hilly to mountainous terrain making it a hardcore hike. Also has good placement to allow hiking at red river gorge or natural bridge state park. Every trip from now on will start with some hiking in birch hollow and then off to red river gorge. They do welcome horses and dogs on these trails making it a little better for general recreation then in the gorge itself.

Directions to Hike
I got directions to birch hollow the start point from http://cabinsofbirchhollow.com then used mapquest.com

Contact Information
It is private trails out to the gorge and natural bridge so there is not contact information.
