Description
A moderate to somewhat Strenuous hike. There are several changes of 200 to 270 feet of ridgetop to ravines. There are several small creek crossing which are easily crossed. Camping is available in back country area. Part of the trail is on old logging roads. Rock shelter is a popular place to stop and enjoy lunch.

Directions to Hike
Indiana State road 37 to Morgan-Monroe State Forest Signs. Turn Northeast. Take road for about 1/2 mile and turn right on Old State Road 37. Go about 1 3/4 mile to the Main Forest entrance, turn left. Follow road for 4 1/2 miles to parking area on right side of main road. The trail Head is right there.
