Description
Very hilly for Central Illinois. This trail doesn't level off...it's up and down for 11 miles. We finished the trail in 6 hours at a brisk pace with a few breaks. It's a nice challenge for someone accustomed to the mostly flat terrain of Central Illinois. The trail is well marked, but not all markers are obvious...pay attention and bring plenty of water. Nice hike!
