Description
The trail follows the western shore of Lake Shelbyville, from Lone Point CG (CoE) to Eagle Creek SP.
There is a leanto(sp) shelter 3mi. in from the Lone Point TH ]. the must be reserved from the CoE in advance.
The trail is hilly at the beginning and levels out a bit about 1/3 of the way through.
There are some nice veiws of the lake, but the roar of the boat can be disconcerting.
All in all it makes a nice day hike or a nicer overnighter if you start at the North TH,Eagle Creek and follow the trail south to Lone Point.

Directions to Hike
From Decatur follow US 121 to US 128. Follow 128 to the Findlay- Assumption blacktop, turn E for 4 mi. through Findlay to signs for Eagle Creek State Park. There will also be signs to lead to Lone Point.
