Description
Nice hike up into 2 high mountain lakes, Lower and Upper Stevens Lake. Last .25 of mile is quite steep as you climb alongside waterfall out of Lower lake. Easy to get to off freeway and good dayhike or quick overnight.

Directions to Hike
Head East on I-90 out of Cour d'Alene, Idaho. Take exit 69, turn left to stop sign. Turn right at stop sign follow road will eventually go back over I-90 on a 1 lane bridge. It will turn to dirt here. Drive to parking area which has a restroom the Forest Service just put in.
