Description
The trail traverses a good deal of the crest of the Koolau Mountain range on Oahu. Expect overgrown conditions, plenty of mud, and wild beauty found nowhere else on the island. Hiking the entire length requires at least one night out, more likely two. Expect to travel no more than a mile an hour in most instances.

Directions to Hike
Hikers can begin at the end of Pupukea Road on Oahu's North Shore. Access to Pupukea Road is via Kamehameha Highway by a Foodland Store near Waimea Bay.
